First HBA Gender Fairness Networking Luncheon, Sept. 30

Attend the first Networking Luncheon of the bar year on Tuesday, September 30, from 11:30 a.m – 1 p.m. in The Plaza Room of Heritage Plaza, 1111 Bagby Street, First Floor. The annual Fall Coat and Warm Clothing Drive and the annual Spring Children’s Clothing and Diaper Drive will be combined this year into one drive, October 6-17. The drive will collect gently-used coats, sweaters and other clothing items for all ages, as well as unopened packages of disposable diapers. Unaccompanied Children Seminar Educational Materials

Attorney Ready Room to Relocate

The Houston Bar Association’s Attorney Ready Room located on the 8th floor of the Civil Courthouse at 201 Caroline has been closed for renovation that will include utilizing that space for a new family law courtroom. The Attorney Ready Room will be relocated on the 17th floor of the Civil Courthouse, but a re-opening date has not been established at this time.
