E-Filing Now Mandate

District Clerk Chris Daniel would like to remind attorneys that all lawyer-submitted documents in Harris County civil and family cases now must be filed electronically. Documents must be filed via eFileTexas.gov, formerly called TexFile. The mandate, ordered by the state Supreme Court, went into effect Jan. 1. Documents submitted to eFileTexas.gov must be sent by a state-certified electronic file service provider (EFSP).

Coalition Provides Expanded Help for Veterans

Veterans in 17 counties in southeast Texas will have increased access to legal services through a new coalition of bar associations and legal communities, made possible by a grant from the Texas Access to Justice Foundation.
