HBA Continuing Legal Education
The Houston Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Department provides quality legal education programs for attorneys in Houston and surrounding counties.
The HBA/CLE Committee plans seminars, institutes, and lunch’n’learns each year that provide continuing education on a variety of legal topics, as well as promote professional ethics. Through our Thursday morning seminars, Friday afternoon seminars, lunch’n’learn programming, and the newly included online videos, HBA members can attend over 90 hours of CLE programming at no cost each year.

New Licensee Series on Starting a Solo Practice
Earn 3.5 hours of CLE, including 1 hour of ethics credit through four videos that will help you start your solo practice from setting up an office, getting and keeping clients, ethically marketing your services and using courtroom technology.
