Transportation Section
 

The Transportation Law Section is made up of membership from all areas of legal practice: private sector; public sector; transactional; litigation, plaintiff's bar, defense bar, real estate, employment, finance and others related to all modes of transportation including land, sea, air, waste, person, things, goods, etc.

The purpose of the Transportation Law Section of the Houston Bar Association is to provide a forum for the open exchange of ideas and information regarding regulations, laws, statutes, ordinances and pending or proposed legislation pertaining  to transportation and transportation-related issues both in the government and in the private sector; to allow the exchange and development of improved practices and understanding of transportation law issues as they relate to the legal field; and to promote increased public awareness of regulatory , legal and public safety issues as shaped and reflected, by the transportation industry and related areas of government law.
