Donations Needed for HAY Center Foster Youth Holiday Party
The HBA's HAY Center Committee will sponsor a holiday party for HAY Center foster youth on Thursday, December 13. The HAY Center serves current foster youth and alumni ages 16 – 25 in transitioning from foster care to independent living. The holiday season can be an especially difficult time for these youth, who lack traditional family and social supports. With your help, we hope to again provide a festive party and gifts for the HAY Center youth and their young children.
There are several ways you can help: purchasing small gift items for stuffing stockings; cash donations to purchase door prizes for the event; or new, unwrapped toys for children ages 6 months-7 years. Donations may be delivered to the HBA, 1001 Fannin, Suite 1300, Houston, Texas 77002 or street-level delivery is available at the loading dock on San Jacinto. Checks should be made payable to the Houston Bar Foundation. Please contact Joy Sanders at
sandersj@ezerlawgroup.com with questions.
