The following information will make accessing services easier for the survivor:

All resources provided to survivors of domestic violence are designed to ensure client safety and confidentiality.  Providers will not verify the whereabouts of a client.

Shelter placements require the survivor to call the shelters directly and speak with the staff person about availability. Talking with the shelter does not guarantee client placement but no one will be left in an unsafe setting.

Resources are also limited and services may be dependent on zip code, county or accessibility. Please ask questions about days and times of operation, any restriction to services and the name of the person to contact.
