On Tuesday, October 22, two dozen medical and legal professionals visited 10 elementary schools in Harris County through the HBA’s IDEA (Interprofessional Drug Education Alliance) program. Together, the pairs of experts delivered interactive presentations to fifth-graders about the medical and legal consequences of substance abuse. These semiannual presentations are coordinated by the HBA IDEA Committee.
