HBA Implicit Bias Educational CLE Program

The HBA and HBF are committed to the values of equal justice and equal rights under the law. Last summer, in response to the tragic death of George Floyd, the HBA formed an Implicit Bias Task Force to develop an educational training program to study and address implicit bias in the legal profession and the justice system. Please watch for announcements in the near future about the launch of this important program. In the meantime, a critical element in determining the pricing for the programming is the level of support from the leaders in our legal community who are committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within the Houston Bar. Haynes and Boone LLP has already made a trailblazing grant of $10,000 to support the work of the HBA/HBF on justice reform. Please consider joining Haynes and Boone as a sponsor. Your generous support will enable the launch of the program in 2021 and will sustain this type of essential educational programming in the future.
