HBA CLE Webinar: Collecting Judgments in a Debtor’s Haven

Texas law provides the greatest protection of a debtor’s assets of any state because of the homestead laws which protect homesteads and vehicles and other personal property from execution by a judgment creditor.  In addition, Texas law prohibits wage garnishments by judgment creditors, with very few exceptions.  Nonetheless, judgments are collected in Texas and this presentation will demonstrate some of the techniques and strategies available to a judgment creditor.
