Diversity, Advocacy, and Action: Better Together

The appellate bar is an exemplar of service and leadership in spaces like pro bono work (legal aid), mentorship, and advocacy (continuing legal education/ scholarship). Devising ways to address the lack of ethnic and gender diversity among appellate practitioners is an area that would benefit from the appellate community’s focused leadership. Through candid discussion, the panel hopes to inspire creative solutions to this longstanding and timely issue.
