HBA CLE Webinar: The Unwritten Rules of Litigation – A View from the Federal Bench

Lawyers are familiar with the variety of formal rules that govern litigation practice – the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure, Rules of Professional Conduct, and various Local Rules of Procedures. This session will examine the “Unwritten Rules” of practice as viewed by two members of the federal bench. This will include:
- How to maintain your credibility with the court;
- How to deal with difficult situations in litigation; and
- How the court views the obligations of practitioners.
The ethics areas covered in this session will include how to maintain candor with the tribunal and the practical ethical obligations of practitioners.
1.5 hours of MCLE credit, including .5 hour ethics.
