HBA/HYLA Supervised Practice Matching Program
The Houston Young Lawyers Association (HYLA) and Houston Bar Association (HBA) are excited to launch a Matching Program that aims support 2020 Houston law school graduates’ employment and career stability following the outbreak of COVID-19 and provide meaningful opportunities for young lawyers to apply their skills.
The Matching Program will connect recent Houston law graduates seeking either paid or unpaid employment with practitioners who can provide them with supervised practice opportunities in accordance with guidance from the Supreme Court of Texas. Participants in the Matching Program must be 2020 Houston law school graduates who have not taken the bar exam due to COVID-19 or are awaiting their scores. Participants must be HYLA members, and should consider joining the HBA. To join HYLA, visit hyla.org/join-or-renew.
