The HBA’s CLE Committee presents full-day and half-day institutes on a variety of topics each year. Institutes are approved for MCLE hours and most include ethics hours.
This year, the HBA’s annual Saturday Ethics Program is on November 3. Attorneys can attend this program from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Heritage Plaza ground floor conference room. This program is accredited for 3 hours of MCLE, including 3 hours of ethics. (That’s all the ethics credit you need for an entire year!)
Attendance is free for HBA members. Non-HBA-members must pay $100 in cash or check at the door. No pre-registration is required.
The schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. — “Ethics in Mediation and ADR,” presented by Terry Fry (Terry G. Fry, P.C.)
- 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. — “Ethics in Immigration Law,” presented by Anuj Shah (The Law Office of Anuj A. Shah, P.C.)
- 11:00 a.m. – noon — “Ethics in Debt Collection, Consumer Law & Bankruptcy,” presented by John Mayer (Ross, Banks, May, Cron & Cavin, P.C.)
No refreshments will be provided. Please enter the building through the doors at the corner of Dallas Street and Brazos Street. Click here for parking suggestions. Contact Ashley Gagnon Steininger with any questions regarding the event at (713) 759-1133 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
