This program is a partnership of the Houston Bar Association, the Harris County Probation Department, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the Houston Police Department. The program provides education about juvenile justice system to youth in the deferred prosecution program and their parents. The program is held once a month, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Harris County Jury Assembly Plaza. Each partner organization speaks for 30 minutes on their role in the juvenile justice system. The goal of the program is to keep youth out of the system through an increased understanding of the juvenile justice system and its consequences.

Thank you to all of the speakers who volunteered with our JCP program in the 2017-18 bar year.
