E-Discovery 2.0 – New Technologies & Shifting Paradigms for Data Management

This seminar will provide a review of current technologies impacting e-discovery and records management – Office 365, Yammer and other social collaboration solutions, Salesforce and other cloud applications, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and other ephemeral data sources. There will be a discussion of legal issues surrounding data deployments, e.g., possession, custody and control; proportionality and production format. It will also cover tips on best practices.

CLE: 1.5 hours CLE credit, no ethics credit.

Speakers: Daniel Lim (Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP) and Renee Meisel (Cobra Legal Solutions)

No pre-registration is required. Written materials are available for up to $15. The CLE Department makes these written materials available after many of its seminars and institutes. If you would like to purchase written materials, please contact the CLE Department at (713) 759-1133 or email Ashley Gagnon Steininger. Written materials will be charged an 8.25% sales tax. Non-members may attend for a $50 fee that covers written materials.
