This seminar will cover the benefits and pitfalls of using social media to investigate employees/candidates. It will provide ways to determine when to discipline employees for statements made on social media platforms and using social media posts as evidence in employment litigation. There will also be a discussion of notable recent cases involving social media in the employment context.
CLE: 1.5 hours CLE credit, .25 ethics credit.
