This committee plans and implements a comprehensive program of activities in commemoration of Law Day, May 1, a national holiday set aside to recognize the importance of law in our society. Programs include readings at Harris County elementary schools for Law Week and Constitution Day, poster and essay contests, and a dialogue program for high schools.
November 16-20, 2020, HBA Law Week Committee volunteers will deliver interactive virtual presentations at Harris County-area high schools, covering this year's topic of "Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100." Click here to sign up your school for a presentation.
