Donate to Clothing & Diaper Drive to Keep Houstonians Warm for Winter


The HBA’s clothing and diaper drive is conducted every autumn. The HBA Campaign for the Homeless Committee encourages everyone to begin collecting items. Click here to confirm your participation as a donor.

New, unopened packages of disposable diapers of all sizes and brands are accepted. New and gently-used clothes of all kinds and for all ages are also accepted, with a specific need for winter wear such as coats and sweaters, and professional attire for men and women. These items are distributed to more than a dozen local aid organizations, including shelters and social service agencies.

Monetary donations are used to purchase disposable diapers and support Houston Dress for Success, which provides interview-appropriate clothing for low-income women entering the workforce. Cash or check only. Please make checks payable to Houston Bar Foundation.

Donations are collected October 15-26. Donors can bring items to 1111 Bagby Street, at the HBA office (FLB suite #200) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or at the dock on the Dallas Street side of the building, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. Donors may alternatively coordinate with Bonnie Simmons (bonnies@hba.org, (713) 759-1133) to have a committee member pick up items.
