"This seminar will cover how to deal with difficult opposing counsel and clients. It will provide tips on communicating with combative people and how to de-escalate a situation. The Texas Center on Legal Ethics will discuss professionalism and how to work with opposing attorneys and clients within ethical boundaries. It will cover professionalism and ethical rules in working with opposing counsel and working with difficult clients as well as candor toward the tribunal when you are working on a difficult case.
1.5 hours of MCLE credit, including 0.5 hours of ethics.

There should be no active campaigning, no literature distributed, no buttons worn, essentially nothing to indicate that a judge is in a contested race, and certainly nothing urging a favorable vote. Judges and judicial candidates may serve on HBA committee(s) and appear in HBA programs.
