Legal & Ethical Issues Using AI & Generative AI for Texas Lawyers

In 2025, AI and Generative AI (GenAI) impact lawyers, paralegals, and clients 24/7 so it is critical that all lawyers know and understand AI and GenAI. Clearly all lawyers have to learn more about AI and Gen AI, In 2023, the State Bar of Texas established an AI Task Force which has been working to help all lawyers. This presentation will include a discussion about the Texas Professional Ethics Committee which issued AI Ethics advice after the AI Task Force requested ethical guidance to the State Bar of Texas.
