Primer on Insurance and Insurance Law

This presentation will describe the economic function of insurance, namely the transfer of risk.  As businesses frequently seek to transfer risk to their insurers, this presentation will offer practical guidance on three areas that often have an impact on maximizing the benefits of insurance (the “Three S’s): Sending Notice, Selection of Counsel, and Settlements.

1 hour MCLE credit; no ethics credit.
