"We are working together providing enriching environments in which at-risk students can work, learn, and be inspired by legal professionals." - Tanya Urban, Gibbs & Bruns LLP
Every year, the HBA partners with Communities In Schools of Houston to provide summer employment opportunities to outstanding junior and senior students at local at-risk high schools. In addition to a paid 8-week internship, participating employees enjoy visits to local courts and law schools, mock trials, networking and mentorship mixers, skills classes, and a celebration at the end of the program.
