This committee plans and implements a comprehensive program of activities in commemoration of Law Day, May 1, a national holiday set aside to recognize the importance of law in our society. Programs include readings at Harris County elementary schools for Law Week and Constitution Day, poster and essay contests, and a dialogue program for high schools.
The 2021 Law Day Theme is "Advancing the Rule of Law Now."
