AI is already reshaping how lawyers work, but not always in the ways we expect. This panel brings together practitioners who are actively using AI in their day-to-day labor and employment practices to share what’s actually working, what’s saving time, and what’s raising new risks.

Panelists discuss concrete uses of AI for legal research, investigations, client management, and training materials, along with recent ways AI has meaningfully impacted their practices. The program also covers some of the less-obvious issues lawyers should be watching for, including privilege and confidentiality risks, legal holds and AI-generated content, client misuse of AI, and how AI is changing the pro se landscape. The session concludes with practical takeaways and possibly a live demo focused on how lawyers can use AI thoughtfully, ethically, and effectively without outsourcing judgment or strategy.
